This superb pub which reopened in November 2016 having been closed for more than two years – is close to the Market Square in the centre of Bromley, which is a few minutes walk from either Bromley North or Bromley South stations. Several bus routes pass close to the pub. It is currently the Bromley CAMRA Pub of the Year, and at the time of writing (end of October) all cask ales are priced at £3.00/pint. The ales themselves are never mainstream, and there could be up to seven of them. Usually at least one is a porter or stout. For those that want it there is also an impressive range of draught keg beers.Share this:PrintTwitterFacebook
A first social at Bromley’s newest micropub. The pub opened its doors for the first time on Friday 3rd May 2019. The name is derived from the ironmongers who previously occupied the premises. Several real ales, usually from breweries in Kent are dispensed from a cold room behind the bar. The pub is located north of the Market Square, close to the (sadly now closed) Hop & Rye pub.Share this:PrintTwitterFacebook
