Keeing you updated with the latest Bromley CAMRA Branch news.
A few more updates that may be useful during these difficult times.
The Three Hounds at Clock House are rolling out a local delivery service to anyone in the Clock House, Beckenham and Penge areas, and perhaps to nearby addresses in SE6 and BR1 as well. Please use this link for further information, including a listing of available beers.
At the other end of the borough, the Imperial Arms in Chislehurst have advised me that they will serve real ale in takeaway 2pt cartons, and also takeaway food from the their excellent menu from 5 – 9pm (Mon – Fri) and probably for longer hours at the weekend. Please use this link to the pub website for more information.
The Lord Holmesdale opposite Bromley Tesco (Homesdale Road), are still cooking their delicious Italian pizzas (no jokes about extra ingredients please!). Please see their website or phone 020 8464 3280 for further information. This is a pub that reopened relatively recently after refurbishment and under new management. I’m sure that they would welcome your support.
In the meantime another link that I’ve received is this one to the London Beer Guide which is trying to list all the breweries, tap-rooms, bars etc that are providing any kind of service at the moment. The site covers all of Greater London, and they seem to be doing a great job of updating it every day. Many thanks to Stephen O. for sending that in.
I haven’t heard much news for a couple of days now and with all our pubs closed I’m not really expecting to hear much more. So instead of these posts every three days, I’m going to create a single directory of all the pubs in our branch area that are offering takeaway beer and/or food and put that on the website instead. Obviously I’ll keep it updated with any additional news that comes in. This should be available toward the end of the week.
But updates are still welcomed – send your emails to: news @bromley.camra.org.uk (remove the space after “news”)
In the meantime, best wishes to all.
