Welcome to Bromley CAMRA

Campaigning for Real Ale drinkers in Bromley Borough.

The Annual General Meeting of Bromley CAMRA will take place on April 10th 2021, starting at 15.00.    Unfortunately, instead of our usual venue of Orpington Liberal Club we are obliged to hold the meeting using “Zoom” this year.   The Zoom software is easy to use and is free.   It can be downloaded using this link.   You only need to download the first download on the list – the “Zoom Client for Meetings”.

All members of Bromley CAMRA are encouraged to attend the meeting, during which we will review what has happened over the last year (which shouldn’t take long!) and then set about electing the Branch Committee to take us through the forthcoming twelve months.

Members who wish to attend the meeting should register by filling in a short google form.   The link is here.   Once registered, members will be given online access to various documents that will be discussed during the meeting.

We are of course a team of volunteers and need to maintain sufficient volunteers to cover the various issues which arise each year.    You can see a list of committee positions on the contacts page.

We currently have the following vacancies :-
  • Branch vice-chair
  • Womens’ Representative
  • BR7 Area Representative (BR7 is mainly Chislehurst).
  • LocAle Representative
  • Young Members’ Representative.

Prospective volunteers will need to submit a nomination form,  duly proposed and seconded by two other CAMRA members.   For further information or more on what a role involves, please email branch.contact @ bromley.camra.org.uk (without the spaces).
