Find out what information & benefits Bromley Borough CAMRA has to offer.
As with many towns, in Bromley real cider drinkers have a job on their hands to seek out the pubs that regularly offer real cider.
Go into most pubs and ask what ciders they’ve got on and you’ll more than likely be offered a list that consists of Strongbow, Bulmers and Magners; all the same commercial fizz! Or thank your lucky stars it’s Stowford Press or Thatchers Gold on tap.
Well at least those two are produced by Weston’s or Thatchers who produce a range of ‘real ciders’, but let’s not kid ourselves, Stowford and Gold are just their entries in the commercial fizz race.
What about Aspalls and Addlestones I hear you cry? Still not real cider I’m afraid. Marketed slightly differently, but not real ciders, all these ‘popular’ ciders fail the test because they are either carbonated, pasteurised, micro-filtered, or concentrate juice has been used.
So where can you get real cider in Bromley? Take a look at the table below. If this information is incorrect please contact us.
