Afternoon social at The Blacksmiths Arms (Cudham)
A chance to visit arguably one of the most rural pubs in the branch area, situated only a few hundred yards from the boundary with Kent. As well as a decent range of cask beers, the pub also boasts an extensive food menu and one of the most attractive pub gardens in our branch area.
Our plan is travel to the pub using the R5/R10 bus route which is a circular route beginning and ending its journey at Orpington bus station (adjacent to the railway station). The particular bus we have in mind leaves the bus station at 13:18, calling at Green St. Green at 13:33, and arriving at the Blacksmiths Arms at 14:00. Here is a link to the full timetable.
In addition, some members may combine this social with a country walk to the pub from another starting point. If so, further details will be provided here when they are finalised. The route will most likely be chosen from one of our pub walks.
