Beckenham social beginning at Br3wery, 253 Beckenham Road BR3 4RP

March 11, 2024 @ 7:30 pm – 10:30 pm

Br3wery is a friendly and welcoming microbrewery taproom, with the brewery currently on-site.   The taproom provides whatever is currently ready on draught, but in keg form only. There are eight taps in total with usually one or two guest beers from other South London microbreweries, such as Gipsy Hill.   The name of the microbrewery is derived from the postcode of BR3.

Please check the website and social media for the latest beer range.

The microbrewery is very close to Clock House railway station, or can be reached using bus routes 194, 227, 354 or 358.   Alight at Clock House.   The social begins at 19:30.

The Three Hounds is a relatively new bar/pub/shop which began life by operating a delivery service during the Covid lockdown.   Although the beer selection is mainly keg (up to 12 offerings), cask ale has gradually become more prominent, with up to three choices often available nowadays.

This pub is a short walk from Br3wery.   We plan to arrive at 20:30.

From there we continue to The Bricklayers Arms which is approximately 15 minutes walk from the Three Hounds, or you can take a short bus ride using the 227 or 358.   We are due to arrive at 21:50.

For those joining the social here, the pub – which faces Beckenham War Memorial – can be reached using one of several buses that pass along Beckenham High Street, including routes 54, 227, 354 and 367.  Alight at Beckenham War Memorial.  Alternatively Beckenham Junction railway and tram station is about ten minutes walk away.

The pub is a Good Beer Guide regular, and currently offers a 50p/pint discount to CAMRA members.
