Keeing you updated with the latest Bromley CAMRA Branch news.
Although the Fellowship Inn is marginally outside our branch area, it is very easy to get to from Bromley and is well worth a visit. It has a long history and is grade II listed architecturally. After a period of closure it reopened last September, and now offers three cask beers which are normally sourced from small London breweries. The pub is a few yards from to Bellingham station which can be reached by Thameslink trains from Bromley South etc. Bus users can use routes 54, 208, 320 or 136 – the first three of these pass through various parts of our branch area. Alight at Bellingham Road. Route 336 (Locksbottom to Catford) also passes close by – alight at Brookehowse Road.
We then use the Thameslink train to travel 3 stations back into our own area where the Shortlands Tavern is next to Shortlands station, and offers a good range of cask beers from small local and regional breweries. We plan to arrive at 8.30pm approximately. Bus users planning to join the social here should use route 227 or 358 and alight at Shortlands station.
