Keeing you updated with the latest Bromley CAMRA Branch news.
This social combines visits to two traditional pubs in the south of the borough and which are linked by the 320 bus route which goes past the front door of both of them.
We begin at 19:30 at the Black Horse which has improved its real ale offering in recent years and is worth a visit if you haven’t tried it recently. Despite its remote location in Biggin Hill, the pub is easy to get to since it has a bus stop outside its front door on the high-frequency 320 route which starts in Catford and passes both Bromley North and Bromley South stations. Alight at Biggin Hill/Black Horse. Routes 246, 464 and R2 also serve this stop, but are less frequent.
We will then continue to the well-known and recently refurbished Two Doves, arriving at about 21:30, using the 320, and alighting at Oakley Road/The Limes stop. Expect Young’s cask beers and possibly one or two guest ales.
