Branch social at East Malling beer festival.
A return visit to this popular and well-organised festival which is organised by Maidstone and Mid-Kent CAMRA. Entry is free for CAMRA members (but £6 for non-members, so don’t forget your membership card!).
We plan to meet at Bromley South at 9:00 in order to catch the 9:23 train, changing at Swanley to arrive at West Malling at 10:22. From there a free bus service leaves at 10:35 to the festival. For those who prefer to avoid the bus, it is also possible to walk to the festival from East Malling station (takes about 20 minutes).
The first train we use is a Thameslink stopping service, so it may be easier for some member to board the train at Shortlands, Bickley or other places that the train calls. Here’s a link to the Network Rail Journey Planner.
