Broadstairs Micropub social (Meet at Bromley South 9.30)
This is our first out-of-area social since lockdown eased up, and takes us to the picturesque Thanet town of Broadstairs, which now boasts a staggering SEVEN micropubs. The plan is to meet at Bromley South station in order to catch the 9.57 train which is due to reach Broadstairs at 11.29. Please arrive at around 9.30 if you interested in benefitting from a groupsave ticket.
From the station it’s about a 20 minute walk to the first pub – The Yard of Ale – which opens at noon. This pub has won a host of awards, and reached the last four of CAMRA’s 2015 pub of the year competition. The remaining six micropubs are grouped close together in the town centre and are also convenient for the station.
