Keeing you updated with the latest Bromley CAMRA Branch news.
Tonight’s social offers a chance to visit three varied pubs all of which are within a few minutes walk from Bromley South station. Note that some of the details of this event have had be changed at the last minute.
We now begin at 19:00 at the cork n cask . If the name seems unfamiliar it’s because until recently it was known as the Bitter End Bar, and as such was the first micropub in Bromley town centre. After a brief closure it reopened on August 25th. The pub is passed by numerous bus routes including routes 61, 208, 261, 320, 336 and 358. Alight at the Bertha James Centre if the bus is heading toward Central Bromley, or at the Homesdale Road stop if you are travelling in the other direction.
The next pub is the Bricklayers Arms which is a recently renovated Shepherd Neame pub, and which is literally next door to the Cork n Cask. We are due at 19:45.
Our evening ends at the Richmal Crompton, a well-known Wetherspoons outlet, located directly opposite Bromley South station. We are due to arrive at 21:00.
