The Gordon Arms has recently been extensively refurbished, and the range of real ales has been increased with more variety. More beers from small local breweries usually now available. A revisit is recommended if you haven’t been here for a while.
The pub is about 15 minutes walk from The Sydney Arms, however the route crosses Chislehurst Common and parts may be dark. An alternative is have a short journey an the 160 bus.
For those joining the social here the pub can be reached from Bromley South, Bickley or Chislehurst stations by bus route 162, alight at the Gordon Arms. The same stop also serves route 160 the route of which is mainly outside our borough. Even closer is the terminus of route 61 at Green Lane/Belmont Lane. However please note that route 61 follows a very circuitous route (via Orpington from Bromley South before it eventually arrives at Chislehurst. Routes 161 and 273 also pass relatively close by.
