For those joining the social here, this Antic pub is located directly opposite the main entrance to Bromley North station and very close to the Bromley North bus station.

The Brewery Tap for the Southey Brewery is a small and cosy bar, close to Penge High Street but rather hidden away. The pub is about 10 minutes walk from Penge East or Penge West stations. Alternatively, bus routes 176, 197, 227 and 354 all pass close to the pub – alight at High/Street/Maple Road. Usually two cask ales from the brewery are available, alongside a larger range of keg beers. Bromley CAMRA members who are not on the committee are always welcome to attend committee meetings. Non-committee members planning to attend a meeting may request the Secretary (secretary@bromley.camra.org.uk) to prepare and print a pack of relevant committee papers to be made available at the meeting. An afternoon social featuring two of the boroughs most popular pubs, both of which are grade II listed.We start at The Partridge which is a well-known Fuller’s pub close to the Market Square in the centre of Bromley. It is a few minutes walk from either Bromley North or Bromley South stations. Several bus routes pass close to the pub. Bromley CAMRA will present the latest in a long sequence of local, regional and national awards won by this superb club which serves more than 200 different real ales every year. The club have arranged to combine the occasion with a “Meet the Brewer” evening, which will give us a chance to meet the team from the Spartan brewery in South Bermondsey.The club is a few minutes walk from Orpington station, directly opposite the entrance to the Tesco Extra car park. This event is the successor to the Bromley CAMRA Cider & Perry festival which was held for several years at the HG Wells centre at Bromley South. This is the biggest pub real real ale festival in the branch area, and traditionally takes place during the Easter weekend. Around 15 real ales will be available from around the country, none of which will be normally available in Bromley. Bromley CAMRA have a reserved table for at least eight people from 12.30. Last year rather more than that number of members attended but everyone found seats in the end. The pub isn’t close to any railway station, but can be reached using the 146 or 246 buses from Central Bromley. Both routes pass Bromley South station. Alight at Keston/The Fox.
