Evening social in Petts Wood beginning at One Inn The Wood .
Tonight’s social is a chance to visit two of the pubs in Petts Wood, both of which are conveniently located for public transport.
One Inn the Wood is close to Petts Wood railway station, and can also be reached by the 208 bus from Central Bromley or Orpington. The 273, R2, R3 and R7 routes also pass close by. In all cases, alight at Petts Wood Station. The venue was Bromley’s first micropub having opened in 2014 on a site previously occupied by a wine bar. It has won an array of CAMRA awards, including Greater London CAMRA Pub of the Year in 2015.
From there we continue to the Sovereign of the Seas at 8:15. This pub is a short walk (5 minutes) from One Inn The Wood – it is a Wetherspoon outlet with normally a good choice of cask ales.
