The Sydney Arms is an attractive pub which used to be located on the main road from Bromley to Sidcup – until a new main road was built! So it is now rather hidden away on a minor road. The only nearby bus routes are the 269 (Bromley North to Bexleyheath) or the 160 if you are travelling from Central Chislehurst. Alight at Ashfield Lane. The Cockpit micropub can additionally be reached using route 162 which runs from Beckenham Junction via Bromley South. The itinerary is as follows:-
