Bromley CAMRA Pub of the Year 2018

Bromley CAMRA is pleased to announce that the Star & Garter in Bromley town centre has been awarded the title of Bromley Branch Pub of the Year 2018.

A quick guide on beer scoring

All CAMRA members are requested to judge the quality of any real ale or real cider that they drink in pubs and clubs.

Bromley Branch, like most CAMRA branches, uses beer scoring as the means of identifying pubs and clubs for possible inclusion in the Good Beer Guide. For this process to be as representative as possible we need as many scores as we can get, from as many members and for as many pubs/clubs as possible.

We collect beer scores at all of our branch socials and meetings, but in order that we get a full picture of beer quality across the borough throughout the year we also ask our members to record and submit scores whenever they have a drink in a pub or club.

If you have never previously submitted any scores we would ask you to give it a try.
