A rare Sunday social (arranged at short notice) gives us a chance to visit the Five Bells beer festival. This superb pub is one of the more remote in the borough. But the R7 bus stops right outside the pub and can be caught near Chislehurst, Bickley, Petts Wood or Orpington stations. The service runs hourly on Sundays, with one service leaving Orpington Station at 14:00, arriving at the pub 15 minutes later.
