Keeing you updated with the latest Bromley CAMRA Branch news.
We celebrate the arrive of Spring with our first out of area event by visiting the coastal town of Ramsgate with its numerous Good Beer Guide pubs.
The plan is to meet at Bromley South station at 9:40am, in order to catch the 9:57 direct to Ramsgate, arriving at 11:35. (Note that this train does NOT stop at St Mary Cray).
Our first stop will be at the Conqueror Alehouse, which is located about half a mile from the station, at 4C Grange Road. This is the first micropub in Thanet. It opens at noon.
From there we continue to the Artillery Arms, 36 West Cliff Road. We plan to arrive at around 1pm.
Further GBG pubs will be visited throughout the day. Although not in the current GBG, Wetherspoon’s enthusiasts may wish to visit the Royal Victoria Pavilion, reputedly the largest JDW in the country.
