Afternoon social in Bromley Common & Petts Wood starting at the Hit or Miss
This social combines visits to Bromley’s newest bar and also the oldest-established micropub in the branch area.
The Hit or Miss opened its doors for the first time on in October 2022, in premises which were previously occupied by a computer repair and sales shop. It describes itself thus: A cafe by day, a microbar by night. To get there us bus routes 61, 208, 261, 320 or 358 and Alight at Southlands Road. Arrival time is 15:30.
From there we will take a short bus journey on route 208 to reach Petts Wood and One Inn the Wood, aiming to arrive at around 17:00. For the benefit of anyone joining the social here, this pub is close to Petts Wood railway station, and can also be reached by the 208 bus from Central Bromley or Orpington. The 273, R2, R3 and R7 routes also pass close by. In all cases, alight at Petts Wood Station. One in the Wood was Bromley’s first micropub having opened in 2014 on a site previously occupied by a wine bar. It has won an array of CAMRA awards, including Greater London CAMRA Pub of the Year in 2015.
