An annual “Cramble” (CAMRA ramble ) has become something of a branch tradition and offers a chance to combine a healthy walk of about 7 miles with visits to up to six of of our more rural pubs, all of which serve cask ale. The route mainly follows some of Bromley CAMRA’s “pub walks”. Click here to see details of all of our pub walks.
Our plan is meet at the Black Horse pub in Biggin Hill at noon The pub is easy to get to since it has a bus stop outside its front door on the high-frequency 320 route which starts in Catford and passes both Bromley North and Bromley South stations. Alight at Biggin Hill/Black Horse. Routes 246, 464 and R2 also serve this stop, but are less frequent.
After this initial refreshment, the walk will begin at 12:40, and will follow the itinerary below :
Farnborough is served by bus route 358 which offers an easy way back to Bromley, Beckenham or Orpington.
