West Wickham social starting at the Wheatsheaf
This social begins at 7pm at the large and comfortable Wheatsheaf which can easily be reached by the high-frequency 119 bus route from Bromley via Hayes, or the 194 from Beckenham. Alight at High Street/Manor Road. West Wickham railway station is about half a mile away.
From there we will continue to the (West Wickham) Real Ale Way at 8pm. This is the second “Real Ale Way” to open in Bromley borough. It operates in a similar manner to its well-known predecessor in Hayes, with up to seven cask ales, usually sourced from smaller breweries in Kent, and dispensed by gravity from a coldroom.
